About the play:
A comedy of (im)morality, or the art of making a career. Through satirical exaggeration and many comical situations, the author takes on the problem of corruption, showing the greed, the sick illusion of boot-lickers and careerists, all the lies “slithering from the mediocrity which kills talents with wings” – as the author wrote himself – “so that the best, honest people cannot achieve anything”.  The Parasite, which is remotely reminiscent of Moliére’s Tartuffe, is a smart satire about hypocrisy, almighty corruption and the art of making a career.
